Why did you decide to become a high school math teacher? Math is pretty much the coolest thing ever, so how could I not?

If you had to sum up your philosophy on teaching and learning math in a few sentences, what would you say? If I can make math less scary, it is easier for students to engage and understand, which makes math more fun and more interesting for them.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you? I make a mean Key Lime Pie.

What were you like in high school? Huge nerd

What interests do you pursue outside of your professional life? Biking, kayaking, snowboarding, Sci-Fi/Fantasy
